Sutton County Library announces change to Apollo Biblionix

The Sutton County Public Library is starting a "Community Garden and Seed Catalogue Exchange" at the library. We are in need of donations to make this happen! A wish list has been created with www.myregistry.com listing items needed. Raised bed self watering garden containers (on the wish list) will be placed all around the back patio and behind the library. The front flower bed will also be used. All vegetables grown will be donated to the Sutton County Food Pantry. The Seed Exchange Catalogue will be located inside the library where you will be able to come and get vegetable and flower seeds to take home and plant yourself. When you have some seeds from a vegetable or plant (homegrown or store bought) bring them to the library to be bagged and catalogued for sharing. Volunteers of all ages will be needed throughout the planting and growing season. Planting will take place after the last freeze of this year. Items needed may be purchased from the retailers listed on the registry or purchased from a store of your choice and shipped or dropped off at the library. All varieties of vegetable and flower seeds are welcome donations. Sutton County is in growing/ planting zone 8A. If you have any questions please call the library at 325-387-2111.
