Sutton County Public Library Community Garden and Seed Catalogue Exchange

Gardening two ways: A garden that gives back to the community

Come by the Sutton County Public Library to help us grow our new community garden. A variety of vegetables will be grown at the library that will be donated to the local food pantry. Planting will begin after the last freeze in Spring 2021. All ages are welcome and encouraged to volunteer with watering, sharing their growing tips, teaching others about gardening and planting skills, and to enjoy the outdoors.

Located inside the library, will be the Seed Catalogue Exchange. Flower and vegetable seed packets will be cataloged and free to take home to grow yourself. When you have some flower and vegetable seeds to donate, please bring them to the library so they may be cataloged and put in the exchange for others to enjoy.

A display of backyard gardening, flower growing, birds and butterfly books for all interest levels will be available for check out in the library to help you get started at home.
